About the Cookbook
Each of the 80+ recipes represents a tribute to resilience, love, and remembrance. Through food, the stories of those we have lost live on, ensuring they are never forgotten.
Tastes from Heaven was created by the Mexican Federation of Jewish Youth (FeMeJJ) and Keren Hayesod-UIA Mexico. It was brought to Australia and adapted by UIA Victoria's Young Leadership and AUJS, supported by the Zionist Federation of Australia.

UIA Young Leadership (ages 18-40) connects younger adults to one another and to Israel, while empowering them to lead with purpose, passion and pride. Young Leadership is more than a division of UIA. It’s a widespread, international network of advocates and forerunners committed to community, continuity, and collective responsibility. UIA's Young Leadership engages thousands of young adults every year through:

- Online engagement and community campaigns
- Major donor functions and networking nights
- Phone campaigns and volunteer opportunities
- Leadership training, mentoring,
and Mission trips to Israel
